A twenty-something on a date with a lady-friend paid special attention to a younger fan sitting behind him, ultimately making the kid's day by gifting him with a ball at the end of the game.

The mother of the child took to her blog to thank the stranger for going out of his way to make her son "feel like a rockstar."

The letter ended up going viral, and within a day the mystery man and the "Grateful Mother in Row 18" were reconnected for a proper thank you.
