Natural Balance Pet Foods Featured As Title Sponsor For 23rd Annual "Going to BAT for B.A.T Fundraising Dinner"

Natural Balance Pet Foods will once again present the annual “Going to
Bat for B.A.T. Fundraising Dinner,” held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at
the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square. This year’s dinner,
which is also sponsored by Ameritrade, will celebrate the 50th anniversary
of the New York Mets. More than 50 former Mets are scheduled to attend,
including Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden, Ron Swoboda, Ed
Kranepool and many others.

“I’m proud to say on behalf of myself and my company that we are
committed to helping B.A.T. for years to come, not only financially, but
with any other assets available,” said Joey Herrick, President, Natural
Balance Pet Foods.

At the “Going to Bat for B.A.T. Fundraising Dinner presented by Natural
Balance Pet Foods,” fans are given the opportunity to interact with former
Major League Baseball players while raising money to assist members of
the Baseball Family who have fallen on hard times with nowhere else to
turn. The night’s festivities include a cocktail hour in which attendees have
the opportunity to meet and obtain autographs from baseball legends and
Hall of Famers, and players are seated with guests at each table during
the dinner. All proceeds from the evening go to B.A.T.

Baltimore Orioles broadcaster and B.A.T. President Gary Thorne and SNY
analyst and Mets pitching great Ron Darling will serve as co-emcees of
the event, and Baseball Hall of Famer Ralph Kiner – part of the Mets
organization for all 50 years - will serve as the Honorary Dinner Chairman.

Founded in 1986, B.A.T. is dedicated to assisting members of the Baseball
Family through financial grants, healthcare programs and rehabilitative
counseling. In addition to assisting former Major League players, B.A.T.
also offers support to former Major League managers, coaches, scouts
umpires, athletic trainers, front office personnel, Minor League players,
Negro League players, players from the Women’s Professional Baseball
League, and spouses and children.

More than $25 million in grants have been awarded to date, benefiting
more than 2,800 members of the Baseball Family who are in need of
assistance. For more information about B.A.T. or to purchase tickets to the
