New Era Pinstripe Bowl participants to arrive in New York City on Sunday

The Kansas State Wildcats and Syracuse Orange will kick off Bowl Week on Sunday, December 26, when they arrive in New York City to begin a week of festivities leading up to the inaugural New Era Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium.

Syracuse University will begin arriving at the Grand Hyatt New York at noon. Syracuse Head Coach Doug Marrone will be made available to the media in the hotel lobby at approximately 4:15 p.m.

Kansas State University will touch down in the Big Apple on Sunday evening, arriving at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers approximately at 6:30 p.m. Kansas State Head Coach Bill Snyder will meet with the media in the hotel shortly thereafter.

The New Era Pinstripe Bowl will mark the first bowl game held in New York City in 48 years, and the first since the original Yankee Stadium hosted the Gotham Bowl on Dec. 15, 1962 (Nebraska 36 - Miami 34). Kickoff for the game on Thursday, December 30, is scheduled for 3:22 p.m.
