Note from Babe Ruth's Sale to the Yankees Sells at Auction

Another cool piece of Babe Ruth memorabilia has sold at auction. The promissory note details the payment due to Boston from the Yankees for acquiring the Babe's services. Ruth's purchase cost a total of $100,000 to be paid in four installments.

The note went for $151,250, significantly less than some previously-auctioned Ruth items.
