Padres' single-game tickets on sale Friday

SAN DIEGO -- Single-game tickets for the upcoming season will go on-sale to the general public at 9 a.m. PT on Feb. 6, the Padres announced Thursday.

Tickets will be available at padres.com.

Season-ticket members and registered users at padres.com will have pre-sale opportunities during the week leading up to the general public on-sale and will be notified about specifics of the opportunity to purchase tickets in advance by email.

This will be the first chance for fans to purchase tickets for the most in-demand games on the schedule, like the home opener against the World Series champion Giants on April 9 at Petco Park.

The Padres open the 2015 season on the road against the Dodgers on April 6.

Also on Thursday, game times (subject to change) for the upcoming season were released and are available at padres.com. Most of the weekday night games will begin at 7:10 p.m. PT. Weekend games will mostly begin at 5:40 p.m.

There will be 12:40 p.m. games during the week on a handful of occasions.

Details about 2015 promotions and giveaways will be released at a later date.

The only way for fans to guarantee seats now for Opening Day against the Giants is with a Padres Membership. Platinum, Gold and Blue Members receive the best seats and prices, as well as access to year-round events and discounts.
