For the past 15 years, the Phillies have been honoring the great teachers in the region with their annual Teacher All-Star contest, presented by Think Energy and GDF SUEZ Energy Resources. Each year, the Phillies ask students and adults to nominate teachers who have had an extraordinary impact on their lives. The contest is a great way for those who submitted nominations and the Phillies to say "thank you" for the hard work and dedication that teachers display on a daily basis.

"The response to this year's Phillies Teacher All-Stars contest was overwhelming, with over 1,000 nominations submitted by students, parents and peers," said Mary Ann Moyer, Director, Community Outreach. "It's a true testament to the positive impact that teachers have on the lives of students. We look forward to honoring these teachers, and the many more, who have gone above and beyond in the classroom."
