Phillies' ballpark goes to the cats and dogs

WHAT:             The Phillies are hosting several fan events before and during the 3:05 p.m. game against the Dodgers on Saturday, May 24, 2014:

  • Jen Utley and the Phillies Wives will be hosting the Phillies Wives Save a Pet at the Park, from 1:05 pm-5:05pm, at the First Base Gate. Fans can meet and adopt a shelter cat or dog, as well as take part in a silent auction, raffle or mystery ball - all to benefit the PSPCA. There will also be a new pet toys and blanket drive, and half the proceeds from that day's Phillies Charities 50/50 Drawing will also benefit the PSPCA.

  • The Phillies are hosting the sold-out Bark in the Park, where 50+ lucky dogs and their human friends will watch the game on the Budweiser "wooftop" on Ashburn Alley. Proceeds benefit the PSPCA.

  • Phillies World Series champion Pedro Feliz will return for the first pitch in honor of Citizens Bank Park Saturday, where every Saturday home game the team pays tribute to the past ten season of playing baseball at Citizens Bank Park.
