Phillies challenge, but call confirmed by umps

PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies lost an instant-replay challenge in the top of the eighth inning Friday night at Citizens Bank Park.

They thought Bobby Abreu might have come off second base after successfully stealing the bag. Jimmy Rollins asked Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg to take a look at the play, and he did.

The umpires confirmed the ruling on the field.
