The players listed below could provide difference-making stats for DraftKings participants on Tuesday.

Edwin Encarnacion (Blue Jays): Since the outset of the 2012 season, the first baseman has produced a .271/.362/.546 slash line against right-handers and a .279/.378/.566 slash line at his hitter-friendly home park. Encarnacion -- who has hit .402 with 11 homers and 35 RBIs across 82 at-bats since Aug. 1 -- could drive in multiple runs against Indians rookie righty Cody Anderson (4.30 ERA) at Rogers Centre.

Jose Bautista (Blue Jays): From the three-hole in the highest-scoring lineup in baseball, Bautista could post a difference-making total in DraftKings contests when he hits against the inexperienced Anderson (4.56 FIP). Since the outset of his 2010 breakout season, Bautista has produced a .267/.387/.555 slash line against righties and a .282/.406/.590 slash line at Rogers Centre.

Curtis Granderson (Mets): With 22 homers, 75 runs scored and 11 steals across 562 plate appearances, the outfielder has been a notable factor in many DraftKings contests. From his perch atop the lineup, Granderson will be poised to excel when he brings his lifetime .862 OPS against right-handers (.691 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Phillies righty Aaron Harang (4.79 ERA, 1.38 WHIP in 2015).

Joey Votto (Reds): The first baseman has used a patient, powerful approach to build an impressive lifetime .317/.433/.550 slash line against right-handers. Votto could display his power when he faces Cubs righty Dan Haren, who owns a 1.7 HR/9 rate this season and a 6.31 ERA across his past five starts.

Jay Bruce (Reds): As a big leaguer, the outfielder has thrived against right-handers to the tune of an .814 OPS (.719 vs. lefties). Bruce -- who has hit 133 homers since the outset of the 2011 season -- could put a ball into the outfield seats when he faces the Haren.

Jose Altuve (Astros): With a lifetime .352/.395/.487 slash line against left-handers, Altuve has proven to be among the best in baseball during those matchups. From his perch atop the lineup, the second baseman will be poised to reach base often or score multiple runs at home against Mariners southpaw Roenis Elias (career 4.16 FIP, 1.29 WHIP).

Cesar Hernandez (Phillies): Hitting out of the leadoff spot, Hernandez may maximize his opportunities to reach base and score runs when he brings his lifetime .705 OPS against left-handers (.640 vs. righties) into a matchup with Mets southpaw Jon Niese (career 1.35 WHIP).

Kyle Schwarber (Cubs): With 12 homers across 156 at-bats, the rookie catcher has already proven to wield one of the most powerful bats among all players at his premium position. Schwarber could thrive when he puts his 1.045 OPS against right-handers (.558 vs. lefties) to the test against Reds righty Anthony DeSclafani (career 4.28 ERA, 1.36 WHIP).

Chris Coghlan (Cubs): The outfielder owns notable career splits, with a .781 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .631 mark vs. lefties. Hitting out of a premium lineup spot, Coghlan could be a cost-effective option in DraftKings contests when he faces DeSclafani (1.36 WHIP in 2015).

Adam Eaton (White Sox): From his perch atop the lineup, the outfielder may maximize his opportunities to succeed when he brings his lifetime .762 OPS against right-handers (.688vs. lefties) into a matchup with rookie righty Tyler Duffey (4.29 ERA, 1.62 WHIP) and a Twins relief corps that ranks 22nd in baseball with a 3.99 ERA.

Alex Rodriguez (Yankees): The slugger will be in position to excel when he brings his lofty lifetime .301/.381/.556 slash line against right-handers into a matchup with righty Rick Porcello (5.47 ERA, 1.40 WHIP in 2015). Rodriguez may also thrive late in the game against a Red Sox bullpen that ranks 24th in the Majors with a 4.19 ERA.

Brian McCann (Yankees): With 23 homers and 82 RBIs across 377 at-bats, the catcher has been among the most productive players at his premium position this season. McCann could drive in multiple runs when he faces Porcello (career 4.42 ERA, 1.36 WHIP) and a suspect Boston bullpen. Also of note: McCann and his teammates will attempt to put balls into play against a Red Sox squad that ranks 27th in baseball with a .679 defensive efficiency ratio.

David Ortiz (Red Sox): With 22 homers and 58 RBIs across 239 at-bats since June 11, the slugger has been among the most powerful hitters in baseball this summer. Ortiz could rip a round-tripper when he faces Yankees righty Michael Pineda, who owns a 4.19 ERA this season and allowed five runs across 4 1/3 frames in his lone start since returning from the disabled list on Aug. 26.

Justin Nicolino (Marlins): In his first big league season, the left-hander will bring a 3.65 ERA into a matchup with a Braves lineup that ranks 25th in the Majors with a .668 OPS against southpaws and last in baseball with 83 homers.

Chris Sale (White Sox): With a 2.36 FIP and 12.0 K/9 rate, Sale has been among the most dominant starters in the Majors this season. The left-hander has the skills to pitch a gem when he travels to Target Field in a seemingly advantageous matchup with Duffey (4.63 FIP).

Yovani Gallardo (Rangers): Despite making most of his 2015 starts at hitter-friendly parks against deep Junior Circuit lineups, Gallardo has produced a 3.14 ERA. The right-hander could fare well when he travels to the Senior Circuit and works at pitcher-friendly Petco Park against a Padres lineup that ranks 26th in the Majors with a .686 OPS against righties.
