Pirates sign 26th round selection Jerrick Suiter
The Pittsburgh Pirates today signed the following player from the 2014 First-Year Player Draft. The announcement was made by Joe DelliCarri, Pirates Director of Scouting.

Hit .273 with 12 doubles and 29 RBI in 51 games in 2014 for Texas Christian University…Was recognized as the Most Outstanding Player at the 2014 Big 12 Championship...Played every position except second base and shortstop during his career at TCU...Was named to the 2012 Mountain West All-Tournament Team.
The Pirates have now signed 31 players from this year's draft, which is the most since signing 32 in 2008.
