Proceeds from "Swing with the Legends Charity Golf Classic" on August 11 and 12 to benefit Brewers Community Foundation

Hall of Famers Rollie Fingers and Robin Yount on list of over 20 former Major Leaguers scheduled to attend

MILWAUKEE - The Major League Baseball Players Alumni will host their annual "Swing With the Legends Charity Golf Classic" on Sunday, August 11 and Monday, August 12 at The Grand Geneva Resort and Spa in Lake Geneva, Wis. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Brewers Community Foundation and the causes they serve.

This year, the event will take place over two days, beginning with a nine-hole scramble "Shootout" on Sunday, August 11 at 1 p.m. at The Grand Geneva. On Monday, August 12, the full 18-hole Swing With the Legends Classic will take place beginning at 9:30 a.m. Every foursome will play with a former Major League player and receive a premium gift bag including a golf shirt and windbreaker. Guests will also receive an official Major League baseball for autographs.

Brunch will be served on the morning of the Classic from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. and tee off is scheduled for 11:50 a.m. The evening is capped with a gala dinner and awards program that features a silent auction of tables filled with autographed baseballs, bats and framed photos. There will also be a live auction with autographed jerseys, baseball trips and special "experience" packages from the Brewers.

Former Brewers players who are scheduled to participate include (list subject to change): Jerry Augustine, Don August, Rollie Fingers, Jim Gantner, Pete Ladd, Kevin Mench, Don Money, Charlie Moore, Willie Mueller, Dave Nelson, Ben Oglivie, Ken Sanders, Bill Sharp, Tom Tellmann, Gorman Thomas, Greg Vaughn, Paul Wagner, Brad Woodall and Robin Yount.
