Rangers honor hometown in Game 4 pregame ceremonies
ARLINGTON -- The Rangers once again honored their past, present and hometown prior to Game 4 of their American League Division Series against the Blue Jays on Monday afternoon.
The Arlington Police Department Color Guard was on the field before a packed house at Globe Life Park, and the American flag was unfurled by members of the Arlington police and fire departments and nearby Grand Prairie Police Department.

"O Canada" was sung by local artist Tommy Ray Williams, and "The Star-Spangled Banner" was delivered by members of the Christian band MercyMe, which originated in Greenville, Texas. MercyMe members Bart Millard, Robby Shaffer and Mike Scheuchzer performed a well-received rendition of the national anthem.

The crowd also got going for a Rangers Hall of Famer.
Former infielder Toby Harrah, who was part of the franchise in Washington and then moved to Texas in 1972 as one of the original Rangers players, stayed with the organization through the '78 season and then returned for his final two years, '85 and '86.
Harrah was on the receiving end of Monday's ceremonial first pitch, which was thrown by Rangers Northwest area scout Gary McGraw, who signed current Texas reliever Keone Kela. Kela escorted McGraw to the front of the mound to make the pitch.
