Rays announce five acts for 2015 Summer Concert Series

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.-The Tampa Bay Rays have announced five acts for the 2015 Summer Concert Series: The Jacksons, Cody Simpson, Lee Brice, KIDZ BOP Kids and Steve Aoki. Each concert is free with the purchase of that date's game ticket and will begin following the conclusion of that date's game. In addition to their game tickets, fans can watch the various acts from the field by purchasing field access passes available at raysbaseball.com/concerts. 

The Jacksons - May 23, Rays vs. Oakland Athletics, 4:10 p.m.

The Jacksons are one of the most beloved musical bands of all time. These five brothers from Gary, Ind. have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and have inspired the musical landscape for "boy bands" throughout the world. With five No. 1 albums, 18 No. 1 hit singles, 17 Top-10 albums and 17 Top-40 singles, which include smash songs "ABC," "I Want You Back," "I'll Be There," "Shake Your Body Down To The Ground" and "Can You Feel It," to name a few. In 2016, the brothers Jackson will celebrate 50 years of being in the entertainment business, securing their place as the most recognizable family in music history.

Cody Simpson - May 24, Rays vs. Oakland Athletics, 1:10 p.m.

Cody Simpson is an 18 year old internationally renowned singer/songwriter from Gold Coast, Australia. Simpson began his career recording songs in his bedroom during the summer of 2009. He was soon discovered on YouTube by Atlantic Records, with whom he released two Billboard Top-10 albums. Most recently, Simpson has departed from Atlantic to form his own label, Coast House Records. Lee Brice - June 13, Rays vs. Chicago White Sox, 4:10 p.m.

Lee Brice's "I Don't Dance" marked his first No. 1 Billboard Country debut and highest-ever hit on the Billboard 200. Along with the smash success of the album's title track-which has been nominated for ACM's 2015 "Single Record of the Year" and reached No. 1 at country radio-the "evocative, rough-edged singer" (New York Times) recorded his third studio album in Nashville, writing and producing 13 of the deluxe edition's 16 songs and playing almost every instrument.
