Rays unveil Spring Training 2014 schedule

ST. PETERSBURG -- Tampa Bay's 2014 Spring Training schedule and the ticket prices for the Rays' Grapefruit League games were announced on Wednesday.

Pitchers and catchers will report on Feb. 14 and hold their first workout on Feb. 15. Position players report on Feb. 19, with the first full-squad workout set for the following day.

The Rays will begin their 14-game home schedule at Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, Fla., on Feb. 28, against the Orioles.

The home schedule includes games against all four American League East opponents, with two games against the 2013 World Series champion Red Sox (March 16 and March 25).

The Rays will conclude their Spring Training schedule on March 29 in Montgomery, Ala., against their Double-A affiliate before opening the regular season at Tropicana Field on March 31 against the Blue Jays.

Single-game tickets for contests at Charlotte Sports Park will go on sale in January, with a specific date to be announced. Tickets will range in price from $10 to $29.

Spring Training season-ticket holders will continue to enjoy discounted package pricing for the 14-game schedule at Charlotte Sports Park as well as the best seat locations. Fans interested in placing a $100 deposit for Spring Training season tickets can do so by visiting raysbaseball.com/springtraining or by calling 888-FAN-RAYS. Those who have placed a deposit will be contacted in January to select their seats.
