Red Sox suspend right-handed pitcher Alfredo Aceves

BOSTON, MA—The Boston Red Sox today suspended right-handed pitcher Alfredo Aceves for three games for conduct detrimental to the team.

The announcement was made by Executive Vice President/General Manager Ben Cherington. 

Aceves’ suspension began tonight with the Red Sox facing the Royals at Fenway Park.
