Seattle Mariners agree to terms with 2nd, 13th round Draft picks

Mariners have signed 30 of 40 selections from the June Draft

SEATTLE, Wash. -- Seattle Mariners Director of Amateur Scouting Tom McNamara announced today the club has agreed to terms with two additional selections from the 2013 Major League Baseball June Amateur Draft.

                                                             

Signing today were second-round pick outfielder Austin Wilson from Stanford University and 13th round selection Lachlan Fontaine (LOCK-len), a third baseman from Sutherland Secondary School in Vancouver, BC.

 

Seattle has now signed 30 of the team's 40 picks from the June Amateur Draft, including 19 players in the first 20 rounds.
