Special Phillies Guests Return for Inaugural "Citizens Bank Park Saturday"; Fan "Tours" of Top 10 Moments Begin

As part of the commemoration of their past 10 seasons of baseball at Citizens Bank Park, the Phillies will host the first "Citizens Bank Park Saturday" on April 12 during the 7:05 p.m. Phillies-Marlins game. 
 
Highlights include:

• Former Phillies pitcher Rheal Cormier, who recorded the first win at Citizens Bank Park on April 15, 2004 (as well as the last win at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium on March 26, 2003 and the last win at Veterans Stadium on September 27, 2003) will throw the first ceremonial ball prior to the game.
• The Phillies Ballgirl roster from 2004-2014 will reunite at Saturday's game! Fans are invited to take part in an autograph signing with the ballgirls at the Left Field Plaza, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
• The Ballpark Project Team, who designed and constructed Citizens Bank Park, will return to be recognized on the field prior to the game. Among those that will also throw the ceremonial first pitch will be John Stranix, Ballpark Project Manager; Jack Donnelly, CEO L.F. Driscoll Co.; Joe Spear Populous; and Pradeep Patel, Ewing Cole.

 
Fans are invited to take self-guided tours of the Top 10 Moments of Citizens Bank Park, which are pictured on large hanging displays throughout the main concourse. More than 43,000 online votes were cast on phillies.com to select these top moments.

THE TOP TEN MOMENTS AT CITIZENS BANK PARK

1.   Phillies Win World Series
October 29, 2008 - Closer Brad Lidge strikes out Eric Hinske causing a celebration unlike any other at Citizens Bank Park and across the Philadelphia region. Cole Hamels is named series MVP as the team ends a 25-year title drought for the city.
 
2.   Doc's Postseason No-Hitter
October 6, 2010 - In his postseason debut, Roy Halladay became the second pitcher in MLB history to throw a no-hitter in the playoffs in a 4-0 win over Cincinnati.
 
3.   Victorino's Slam
October 2, 2008 - Brett Myers nine-pitch walk and Shane Victorino's grand slam off Milwaukee starter CC Sabathia highlighted a five-run 2nd inning that carried the Phils to a 5-2 win in Game 2 of the NLDS.
 
4.   2008 World Series Game 3 - The Walk-Off
October 25, 2008 - A walk-off infield single by Carlos Ruiz against a five-man Rays infield broke a 4-4 tie and gave the Phillies the win in their first World Series game at Citizens Bank Park.
 
5.   The Parade
October 31, 2008 - Two days after the Phils defeated the Tampa Bay Rays to win the World Series, on a sun-splashed Halloween Day in Philadelphia, Pat Burrell leads the team down Broad Street to Citizens Bank Park to celebrate.
 
6.   Phillies Win the 2007 NL East Crown
September 30, 2007 - For the first time since 1993, the Phillies made the playoffs, winning the National League East Division championship with a 6-1 win over the Nationals. The Phils finished the season on a 13-4 run to catch the Mets.
 
7.   Jimmy Rollins NLCS Walk-Off
October 19, 2009 - Trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the 9th inning, Jimmy Rollins laced a two-out double off Dodgers closer Jonathan Broxton to the right-center field gap, scoring pinch-runner Eric Bruntlett from second base and Carlos Ruiz from first.
 
8.   2008 World Series Game 4 - The Blowout
October 26, 2008 - Led by Ryan Howard's two home runs and five RBI's and pitcher Joe Blanton's first career home run, the Phils offense exploded with 12 hits in the 10-2 win over Tampa Bay to give them a 3-1 edge in the Series.
 
9.   The Comeback
August 30, 2007 - Down a run in the bottom of the ninth, Jayson Werth singled and stole two bases off Mets closer Billy Wagner. Tadahito Iguchi singled home Werth and Chase Utley hit an RBI single to score Iguchi that capped a huge four-game sweep of first-place New York.
 
10.   Rowand's Catch
May 11, 2006 - Aaron Rowand left Citizens Bank Park bloodied, broken and battered after a gutsy catch-and-crash into the outfield wall in the first inning that saved a win for the Phillies.
