Sportsnet la announces live dodger game coverage and complete all-access programming plans for the 2015 regular season

Network to feature 150 live regular season games in English and Spanish and a new season of original, exclusive and around-the-clock Dodger programming; Hall of Fame Broadcaster Vin Scully returns for a historic 66th season in the booth; Dodger legend Fernando Valenzuela to call the network's unprecedented Spanish-language TV offering

LOS ANGELES, CA - SportsNet LA, the exclusive 24/7 TV network of the Los Angeles Dodgers today released full details of its coverage featuring 150 live game telecasts in English and Spanish, original Dodger programming and its on-air broadcast team for the 2015 regular season. The announcement comes ahead of the network's first live regular season game presentation on Opening Day, Monday, April 6th at 1:10 p.m. PT when the Dodgers host the San Diego Padres. 

Iconic Hall of Fame Dodger broadcaster Vin Scully is now in his historic 66th season in the booth and will call SportsNet LA's Opening Day telecast live from Dodger Stadium, while legendary Dodger pitcher Fernando Valenzuela calls the first regular season game of the network's record-setting Spanish-language live game presentations.

Live Opening Day coverage on SportsNet LA begins at 12:00 p.m. PT with "#Leadoff LA," followed by continued pre-game analysis, live interviews with players, staff, legends, celebrities and more on the network's signature studio show, "Access SportsNet: Dodgers." All season long, in-studio coverage of the Dodgers will be led by SportsNet LA's elite on-air broadcast team featuring studio anchor John Hartung and in-stadium host Alanna Rizzo, alongside Dodger greats Orel Hershiser and Nomar Garciaparra and former Dodger Jerry Hairston Jr.

The network also announced that Ned Colletti, who serves as the Dodgers Senior Advisor to the President and CEO, has joined the SportsNet LA broadcast team as an analyst and will contribute to its Opening Day coverage. Colletti, who brings 33 years of Major League Baseball (MLB) front-office experience to the network, including the last nine years as the Dodgers General Manager, will provide fans with a unique perspective and insightful analysis throughout the season.

All Dodger home games and select away games on SportsNet LA will be called by Vin Scully. When Scully is not in the booth, veteran team broadcaster Charley Steiner will call the games joined by Orel Hershiser and Nomar Garciaparra. As was announced separately, SportsNet LA will also produce a record-setting 150 regular season games in Spanish. Dodger legend Fernando Valenzuela will serve as analyst along with veteran team play-by-play announcer Pepe Yñiguez on most games. Longtime Dodger coach Manny Mota will appear on select games as well as seasoned reporter, Diana Alvarado who will assist live telecasts with player and coaching staff interviews. This season, the network will also again partner with Radio Korea, the Dodgers Korean radio broadcast partner, to bring fans Korean-language Secondary Audio Programming (SAP) with broadcasters Richard Choi and Andrew Lee providing the play-by-play and analysis.

SportNet LA's live, in-depth Opening Day coverage on April 6 will be followed by back-to-back premiere episodes of "Connected With…the Infield," at 5:00 p.m. PT featuring interviews with infielders Jimmy Rollins, Justin Turner, Juan Uribe and Howie Kendrick. The episode will be followed by a new "Dodgers Clubhouse" at 5:30 p.m. PT featuring a look back at the memorable moments of the franchise's rich history, including the historic signing of Jackie Robinson, the team's move to Los Angeles, and Kirk Gibson's memorable home run in the 1988 World Series. 

Other original Dodger programming on the network that will air throughout the season includes "Backstage: Dodgers," the weekly behind-the-scenes documentary series, "Larry King at Bat," featuring talk show legend Larry King in special sit-down interviews with celebrities, baseball legends, Dodger personalities and other luminaries, "Dodgers Clubhouse," the weekly all-access show, "Talkin' Blue," featuring team legends and personalities in candid conversations about their favorite team memories, and "Timeless Dodgers," special presentations of classic Dodger games.

SportsNet LA will also re-air every 2015 season Dodger telecast both as a complete game including full post-game analysis, and as a "Dodgers Squeeze Play," a condensed one-hour format enhanced with the sights and sounds viewers did not catch while watching the live game.
