Cardinals stick with same roster for NLCS against LA

Matheny makes no changes to 25-man group that beat Pirates in NLDS

ST. LOUIS -- As expected, the Cardinals will use the same 25-man roster in the National League Championship Series against the Dodgers that they did in their five-game NL Division Series win against the Pirates.

That roster, made official Friday morning, includes 12 pitchers and 13 position players. The Cardinals will utilize a four-man rotation, which will leave eight pitchers in the bullpen. Joe Kelly will start Game 1 of the NLCS on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. CT.

The full roster is as follows:

PITCHERS: Kelly, Michael Wacha, Adam Wainwright, Lance Lynn, Shelby Miller, Trevor Rosenthal, Kevin Siegrist, Randy Choate, Carlos Martinez, John Axford, Edward Mujica, Seth Maness

POSITION PLAYERS: Yadier Molina, Tony Cruz, Matt Adams, Matt Carpenter, Pete Kozma, Daniel Descalso, Kolten Wong, David Freese, Matt Holliday, Carlos Beltran, Jon Jay, Shane Robinson, Adron Chambers
