I wasn’t planning on crying tonight. Certainly wasn’t trying to. But here I am. Sobbing like a baby. Just a wonderful story here. Allan Monroe looks ecstatic to be back at Fenway after 50 years. The picture of him with a beard on made me laugh and cry at the same time. Pretty awesome that he got to say “play ball!” before the game too. Tip of the cap to everybody who made it possible. The extra money that was raised went to the Jimmy Fund, to further research the disease that took his late wife Norma’s life.
