Texas Rangers debuts new fan experience with seat upgrade technology

The Texas Rangers today announced that the club has partnered with fan experience technology company Experience (www.findexp.com) to deliver seat upgrade technology for fans as part of MLB.com's At the Ballpark free app for iPhone, iPod touch and Android smartphones.

The new day-of-game seat upgrade technology is being introduced at Rangers home games beginning with the current series against the Milwaukee Brewers.

After downloading the free At the Ballpark app, fans can select Rangers Ballpark in Arlington as their venue of choice. Fans will be able to access the seat upgrades for that specific game at the time the Rangers Ballpark gates open, which is normally two hours before first pitch. The upgrade inventory for each game is subject to availability.

Fans can go to texasrangers.com/upgrade or use their At the Ballpark app to sign up for notifications on available upgrades for a specific game.

The Rangers are offering a limited number of seat upgrades in five different ticket categories at the following prices:

Lower Box & Lower Infield (Sections 14-38)--$25 per ticket

Club Level (Sections 217-235)--$20 per ticket

Corner Box/Lower Reserved (Sections10-13 and 39-42)--$15 per ticket

Experience and MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (MLBAM), the interactive media and Internet company of Major League Baseball, announced a partnership in March 2013, to deliver seat and experience upgrade technology at participating ballparks. For more information, please visit MLB.com.
