Three minor league players suspended

          The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that three Minor League players have been suspended following their violations of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. 

Free agent Minor League right-handed pitcher Bryan Berglund has been suspended for 50 games without pay after testing positive for Methylhexeanamine.  The suspension of Berglund will be effective upon his signing with another Major League organization.

Pittsburgh Pirates Minor League left-handed pitcher Zackry Dodson has been suspended for 50 games without pay after a second violation for a drug of abuse.  The suspension of Dodson, who is currently on the roster of the Single-A West Virginia Power of the South Atlantic League, is effective immediately.

Miami Marlins Minor League right-handed pitcher Mathew Milroy has been suspended for 50 games without pay after testing positive for Methylhexeanamine.  The suspension of Milroy, who is currently on the roster of the Single-A Jamestown Jammers of the New York-Penn League, is effective immediately.
