Tigers-Nats exhibition game cancelled

WASHINGTON -- The Tigers-Nationals exhibition game that had been set for Saturday was cancelled because of rain and inclement weather; it won't be rescheduled.

Washington has locked up its 25-man roster and will start the 2014 season on Monday on the road against the Mets.

With four moves on Saturday, the Tigers also finalized their Opening Day roster. They'll start the season on Monday at home against the Royals.

Fans with game tickets to today's cancelled contest may exchange their tickets for any remaining regular or value home game during the 2014 regular season. Tickets cannot be exchanged for the April 4 home opener against the Braves. Exchanged tickets will be issued from available inventory in the closest pricing category of equal or lesser value to the original seats.
