Tim Beckham Jukes Catcher to Score Amazing Run

The Durham Bulls, the Tampa Bay Rays' Triple-A affiliate, continue to make headlines in 2013. This time they did so by scoring one of the most odd but amazing runs at home plate I've ever seen.

After Tim Beckham doubled in the seventh, Cole Figueroa singled to center, leading to a close play at the plate. Beckham first slid wide to avoid the tag. In the process, though, he missed home plate too. So he jumped to his feet with a motion that resembled my best dance move and narrowly escaped the catcher's tag. He then slid into home plate safely, giving the Bulls an 8-4 lead, which stood as the game's final score.
