Possible contest to decide AL West title or 2nd AL Wild Card spot would air on ESPN

Major League Baseball on Sunday announced the start time for a potential tiebreaker game that would be played on Monday.

Entering play on Sunday, the AL West-leading Rangers (87-74) held a one-game lead over the Astros (86-75), while the Astros held a one-game lead over the Angels (85-76) for the second AL Wild Card spot.
