Verlander Responds to "Diamonds" Parody
On Tuesday morning, we released our latest player video, a parody of Rihanna's "Diamonds" starring Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera and Baltimore Orioles center fielder Adam Jones. Cabrera and Jones display some serious dancing skills in the video, really putting themselves out there.
Cabrera's teammate, Tigers ace Justin Verlander, saw the video on Wednesday night and took to Twitter to share his reaction.
.@miguelcabrera what did they have on you? Haha #speechless atmlb.com/V4YXOX

We swear that we have nothing on Cabrera, who willingly agreed to everything that was asked of him. And, in all seriousness, Cabrera and Jones were great sports about the whole thing. Each player has a unique and fun personality, and we feel that shines through in the video.
It's now on us to get Verlander to put himself out there in a similar way. Even if he's not willing to dance for us.
@mlbfancave @miguelcabrera we'll see. No chance I'm dancing though #MLBFC
