Wallace hopes Astros can have success on road

HOUSTON -- The Astros snapped a season-long 10-game losing streak to Oakland on Tuesday, and Brett Wallace said he is hopeful that the team can carry that momentum into its upcoming road trip.

"As a young team, that's the next step we take," Wallace said. "You have to beat people in your division, and we had struggled with the A's in the past. So we came up last night and got a win. Hopefully, we can build on that, and one of the next steps is taking it on the road and really putting together good road trips."

Following Wednesday's finale, the Astros will embark on a 10-game road trip through Toronto, Baltimore and Minnesota.

"We're going to play a long road trip, but it's also against some good teams," Wallace said. "Toronto is a talented team, and then we're going to Baltimore and then Minnesota. Those are all teams that have a lot of talent. We just need to go out there and stay focused and just try to win every series."
