What to watch for in today's games

Greinke looks to continue NL West dominance; Bailey, Salazar to debut for their Ohio teams

A few weeks into the season, teams are starting to settle in and find their groove. Saturday brings a full slate of games. Here are four things to watch for:

• How the West is won? COL @ LAD, 10:10 p.m. ET

The season is still young, but the high-powered Rockies are doing everything they can to keep up with the big hitters in the National League West. Right-hander Jordan Lyles will be up against Zack Greinke, who has been downright dominant (19-1) within the division since joining the Dodgers.

• Bailey, Salazar to debut: CLE @ MIN, 2:10 p.m. ET; CIN @ STL, 2:15 p.m. ET

Two Ohio teams will feature starting pitchers making their first outing of the year on Saturday, with Cleveland right-hander Danny Salazar taking the ball against the Twins and Cincinnati righty Homer Bailey facing off against the Cardinals. Salazar threw six shutout innings in his season debut at Triple-A, while Bailey had a 5 2/3-innings rehab start at Triple-A.

• Buchholz looking to rebound: BAL @ BOS, 4:05 p.m. ET

After turning in a terrific Opening Day start, Clay Buchholz had one of the worst outings of his career -- nine earned runs on nine hits in 3 1/3 innings against the Yankees. The Red Sox will need him at his best against the division-rival Orioles. Chris Tillman, also coming off a tough start, gets the start for the O's.

• Latos trying to get on the board: MIA @ NYM, 7:10 p.m. ET

It's been a rough start in Miami for right-hander Mat Latos, who has sputtered out to a 17.36 ERA through two losses to begin the season. He sat through two rain delays in his last outing in Atlanta, so he'll be hoping for better conditions against Jacob deGrom and the Mets on Saturday.
