White Sox announce upcoming series events

Upcoming Homestand Features Free T-Shirt Monday

CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox announce promotional highlights, giveaways and ceremonial first pitches for the upcoming home series vs. the Cleveland Indians.

Tickets for all games are available at whitesox.com, the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office (Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.) or by calling 866-SOX-GAME. Season ticket packages are available for purchase by calling 312-674-1000.

Monday, May 18, 7:10 p.m. vs. Cleveland

The K Zone For Sale is a ballpark promotion launched last season in Sections 154 and 155 - a total of more than 930 seats. When Sox ace Chris Sale starts, fans with tickets in these sections receive a "K Zone For Sale" T-shirt and strikeout card, which can be picked up at the #SoxSocial Lounge before the end of the first inning. "K Zone For Sale" tickets are $20 for most games, with the exception of Family Sundays when the tickets are $15 and the Crosstown Cup games (all subject to availability). Please note that the pitching rotation is subject to change.

The Free T-Shirt Monday promotion gives the first 10,000 fans who enter the ballpark a free T-shirt at every Monday home game. On Monday, May 18, fans will receive a Paul Konerko T-shirt in honor of Paul Konerko Day later in the week on May 23. Additional information, including future dates and T-shirts, is available at whitesox.com/Mondays.

Miller Lite Extra Base is a renovated club area located down the left field line. This climate-controlled space, which is equipped with a bar and patio area, is open to the public (all fans age 21 and over with a game ticket) when it is not rented by a group. This is the first season of the club area's open access for general admission fans ages 21 and over.

Tuesday, May 19, 7:10 p.m. vs. Cleveland

Graham Rahal, the youngest driver to ever win a Verizon IndyCar Series race at the age of 19 years and 93 days, will throw a ceremonial first pitch. He drives the No. 15 Steak 'N Shake Honda for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. The Albany, Ohio, native is the son of 1986 Indianapolis 500 winner Bobby Rahal and a former driver for Paul Newman. After his first pitch, Rahal will interact with fans in the #SoxSocial Lounge near Section 154.

Three members of the Chicago White Sox Charities-sponsored Amateur City Elite (ACE) youth baseball program will be honored as "Players of the Month" in a pregame ceremony. This award honors athletes who thrive on the field, in the community and in the classroom.
