Wild card races in the spotlight during MLB Network's live game schedule from September 15 - 20

Postseason-Contending Angels, Athletics, Braves, Brewers, Cardinals, Dodgers, Giants, Mariners and Nationals All in Action

Secaucus, N.J., September 11, 2014 - Ten pennant chase games will be featured across six days on MLB Network from September 15 - 20. Highlights include:

  • The NL East-leading Washington Nationals visit the Atlanta Braves, who trail the Pittsburgh Pirates for the second NL Wild Card spot by one and a half games, on Monday, September 15 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Following the game, AL MVP candidate Mike Trout and the MLB-leading Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim host the Seattle Mariners, who trail the Detroit Tigers by a half-game for the second AL Wild Card, at 10:00 p.m. ET. The Mariners and Angels will meet again on Tuesday, September 16 on MLB Network at 10:00 p.m. ET.
  • West Coast pennant chase baseball will be on display beginning with the NL Wild Card-leading San Francisco Giants matching up against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday, September 17 at 3:30 p.m. ET. Josh Donaldson and the AL Wild Card-leading Oakland Athletics play home to the Texas Rangers on Thursday, September 18 at 3:30 p.m. ET, and the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday, September 20 at 4:00 p.m. ET. The NL West-leading Los Angeles Dodgers travel to Wrigley Field to face the Chicago Cubs on Friday, September 19 at 2:15pm ET.
  • The NL Central-leading St. Louis Cardinals, who are looking to win their second straight division title, take on the Milwaukee Brewers, who trail the Pirates by one and a half games for the second NL Wild Card spot, on Thursday, September 18 at 8:00 p.m. ET, live from Busch Stadium.
  • NL MVP candidate Buster Posey and the Giants visit Petco Park to take on the San Diego Padres on Friday, September 19 at 10:00 p.m. ET.
