Worth noting

• Right-hander Brandon Morrow felt fine after his last bullpen session and is scheduled to throw again on Monday. He is expected to throw two more bullpens before being allowed to face live hitters. Morrow has been out since June 12 with a strained left oblique muscle.

• Right-hander Drew Carpenter will become the Blue Jays' main option in long relief following the departure of Jesse Chavez to the Minor Leagues. Carpenter has appeared in two games with the Blue Jays this season and has allowed two runs.
