Travis Kelce & Jason Kelce embrace their NLCS era at Game 1 in Philly

October 17th, 2023

It's been impossible lately to be on social media without seeing photos and videos about a certain pop music superstar taking in a football game supporting her boyfriend -- and though Taylor Swift wasn't spotted in the stands of the Phillies' 5-3 win over the D-backs in Game 1 of the NLCS on Monday night, both Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs and his brother, the Eagles' Jason Kelce, enjoyed the game from a suite at Citizens Bank Park.

The Kelce Bros. were on hand for the Phillies' first-inning power show, an ambush of D-backs ace Zac Gallen that saw Kyle Schwarber make postseason history by clubbing a homer deep into right field on the first pitch.

Not to be outdone, two batters later, Bryce Harper swatted a solo homer of his own -- not a bad way to celebrate your 31st birthday.

The Kelces also posed for a photo with Dawn Staley, basketball Hall of Famer, three-time Olympic gold medalist and fellow Philadelphia sports legend, who tossed out a ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.

During a segment on the TBS broadcast, play-by-play announcer Brian Anderson made a joke about how there was an open seat (or a "Blank Space," if you will) between the Kelces in their suite.

And though Swift didn't appear to be in the ballpark for the game (probably busy dealing with her Eras Tour concert film shattering box-office records), she does have a track record of mid-October appearances in Philly under the postseason lights -- just go back to Game 3 of the 2008 World Series, when she performed the national anthem (during her Fearless era, for those not innately familiar with her timeline):

Keep your eyes peeled for any future postseason games in Philadelphia this postseason -- you never know who else might show up, after all.
