The Pirates have reinstated RHP Michael Feliz from the 10-day disabled list and have selected RHP Alex McRae from Triple-A Indianapolis.

RHP Dovydas Neverauskas and LHP Josh Smoker have been optioned to Indianapolis.

Feliz has been on the D.L. since June 24 with right shoulder inflammation. He made his last appearance with the Pirates on June 23.

The 25-year-old McRae has no Major League experience. He was a non-roster invitee with the Pirates this past spring and has gone 3-7 with a 4.61 ERA (84.0ip/43er) in 17 games (16 starts) with Indy this season.

He made his last start on July 2 (5.2ip/1er) and has been charged with just one earned run in his last two Triple-A outings (12.2ip).

McRae was Pittsburgh's 10th round selection in the 2014 First-Year Player Draft. He was an Eastern League mid-season All-Star in 2017 and went 10-5 with a 3.61 ERA in 27 games (25 starts) with Altoona last year.

McRae will wear uniform #51.
