Josue De Paula...born on May 24, 2005 in Brooklyn, N.Y., but moved to the Dominican Republic when he was 15 years old...is the second cousin of former NBA guards Stephon Marbury and Sebastian Telfair.

2025

Spent a majority of the season with Advanced-A Great Lakes and was assigned to Double-A Tulsa for the first time in his career on Sept. 9, going hitless in four games...Set career-highs in home runs (12) and stolen bases (32)...Had his best month in May, hitting .308 (28-for-91) with five home runs and 12 RBI…went 3-for-6 with two homers at Dayton on May 10...Also named Midwest League Player of the Week on Sept. 7…went 9-for-22 with three doubles, a home run, 15 total bases and six walks...On Sept. 2 at Lake County, blasted a homer and two doubles for eight total bases in a 3-for-5 game...Honored as Midwest League Post-Season All-Star.

2024

Began the season with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga (55 games) before being assigned to Advanced-A Great Lakes (52 games) on June 25...Combined to slash .268/.404/.405 while setting career-highs in doubles (17), triples (three), home runs (10), RBI (62), games played (107), runs (69), stolen bases (27) and hits (103)...Had his best month in May, slashing .256/.384/.511 in 25 games with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga with five home runs and 16 RBI.

2023

Spent the entire season with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga, playing in 74 games and slashing .284/.396/.372 with 19 extra-base hits and 40 RBI.

2022

Played his first professional season with Rookie-level DSL Bautista, slashing .349/.448/.522 in 53 games with 13 doubles, two triples, five home runs and 30 RBI...Named a DSL Post-Season All-Star.
