The 2024 No. 3 overall pick is red-hot again after his rapid rise through the Minors a year ago. He punctuated this current streak with a walk-off on Sunday.

Rockies No. 2 prospect (MLB Pipeline's No. 74 overall) crushed a home run to center field in the bottom of the ninth inning to deliver an 8-7 win for Triple-A Albuquerque over El Paso at Isotopes Park. He took a first-pitch slider to deep center field, launching it a projected 415 feet at 105.3 mph.

The game-winner was Condon’s eighth long ball of the season and his second in as many days. It was also the first walk-off of his young career, though interestingly, it was not his first time at the plate as his team walked off an opponent. Condon was batting as High-A Spokane earned a walk-off balk in June 2025.

Condon now has a hit in 12 consecutive games and multiple hits in four of those games, raising his season average to .262 with an .861 OPS. He finished Sunday’s performance 2-for-4 overall, including a single in the second inning and a walk in the fourth. The 23-year-old also currently sits tied for fifth in the Pacific Coast League with 43 runs scored.

In his first full professional season in 2025, Condon moved all the way from Rookie ball to Double-A, recording an overall slash line of .268/.376/.444 with 14 homers.

The owner of 37 deep flies in his final college season at Georgia is now working on plenty of things, including his defense at both first base and in the outfield, but the bat certainly seems to be coming along in Condon’s first stint at Triple-A.
