Homestand highlights: September 27-30

The Kansas City Royals will host the Cleveland Indians for the final homestand of the season. Theme Tickets are still available, including Love Your Melon Night (September 27), GordoNation (September 27), Missouri State Night (September 28) and Special Day at The K (September 30). The Saturday, September 29 game will feature Fan Appreciation Night with giveaways, prizes and fireworks to end the night.

Thursday, September 27 - Cleveland Indians vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.

·        Love Your Melon Night - The Royals are excited to host the second annual Love Your Melon Night. Fans who purchase the special Theme Ticket package will receive a ticket to the game and a limited-edition "Kansas City Royals Love Your Melon" beanie (photo attached). This powder blue beanie features a custom leather patch and is made from thick knit yarn in St. Paul, Minn. A portion of each beanie purchased will be donated to the fight against pediatric cancer through Love Your Melon. Redemption will be at Gate A from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the 2nd inning.

·        GordoNation - Fans can enjoy the final GordoNation, a special seating section in left field reserved for die-hard Alex Gordon fans. Fans who purchase Theme Tickets for the event will receive a seat in the Outfield sections in left field, an Alex Gordon big head and an exclusive premium GordoNation t-shirt (photo attached). Friday, September 28 - Cleveland Indians vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.

·        Futures Night - Prior to the game, the Royals will salute the Pitchers and Players of the Year from each of the Club's minor league affiliates, as well as the South Atlantic League Champion Lexington Legends.  The players are scheduled to participate in a free autograph session from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. near Gate A across from the Royals Hall of Fame before receiving their awards in a special pregame ceremony.

·        Missouri State Night - For the first time at The K, supporters of Missouri State University can join fellow Bears fans for an evening of big-league action presented by FOX Sports Kansas City and Rally House. Fans who purchased Theme Tickets for this sold-out event will receive a limited-edition maroon and white KC Royals cap featuring the Bear logo (photo attached). Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and cap redemption at Gate A will continue until the end of the 2nd inning. 

 

Saturday, September 29 - Cleveland Indians vs. Royals, 6:15 p.m.

·        Fan Appreciation Night presented by Sprint - The Royals will reward fans for their tremendous support throughout the season with 50 prize giveaways throughout the game in honor of our 50th Season. All fans in attendance have a chance to win autographed items, game tickets, gift cards and experiences. For the entire list of prizes, visit www.royals.com/fans.

·        50th Season Hooded Sweatshirt - The first 15,000 fans will receive a special blue and gray hoodie featuring the 50th Season logo (photo attached), courtesy of Academy Sports + Outdoors.

·        Thank You Fireworks Spectacular - The Royals will have a special fireworks show following the conclusion of the game, courtesy of Popsicle and Price Chopper.

·        610 Saturday - The Royals have teamed up this year with Entercom and 610 Sports Radio for 610 Saturdays featuring live pregame broadcasts with 610 Sports Royals Insider Jay Binkley and special guests from the studio at Gate A in Left Field. Sunday, September 30 - Cleveland Indians vs. Royals, 2:15 p.m.

·        Royals 2019 Early Bird Schedule & 2018 Team Photo - All fans in attendance will receive a 2019 early bird team schedule with a 2018 team photo, courtesy of Pittcraft printing

·        Family FunDay Sunday presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors - Each Sunday home game has featured freepregame interactives, entertainment for kids, plus face painters and caricature or balloon artists in the Outfield Experience. All Day Play passes for unlimited activities in the Outfield Experience can be purchased for $10. Fans have the opportunity to get pregame autographs from select players by the Royals dugout from 12:45 a.m. to 1:05 p.m. (one hour later than usual).
