Royals fans dusted off their boots at The K for an evening of America’s pastime with America’s soundtrack. After the Royals beat the Twins, we hosted a concert played from behind second base by chart-topping singer/songwriter Jake Owen. When fans purchased a Royals game ticket, they could stay in their seat and enjoy the postgame concert or come down onto the infield dirt with a Field Pass.
We're kicking off Opening Day 2023 with a bang and a twang! Not only will we see the return of our iconic powder blues, but we’ll be welcoming country sensation Brothers Osborne to The K. The Grammy award-winning duo will take the stage to rock out with fans from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m., prior to first pitch. You’ll definitely want to stay a little longer to see the Royals take on the Twins at 3:10 p.m.

Two sons from a working-class family, John and TJ Osborne grew up in a small Maryland water town writing and playing songs for friends and family in their father’s shed. John moved to Nashville first to play in other bands, and two years later, TJ joined him. It was then they formed Brothers Osborne as a duo that blends equal parts country and rock into one of the freshest, most identifiable sounds to come out of Nashville in recent years. The “I Love the ‘90s” postgame concert came to The K on August 27th, 2022. Fans who purchased a ticket to the game got the chance to see Padres vs. Royals, AND then jam to iconic ‘90s music stars Vanilla Ice, Blackstreet, Color Me Badd, and Treach of Naughty by Nature LIVE in concert.

Consisting of original members of New Jersey’s own Chauncey Black, Levi Little, Eric Williams, and New York’s own Mark Middleton, Blackstreet became a household R&B name with songs like “No Diggity” (with Dr. Dre) and “Before I Let You Go.”
Color Me Badd is one of the top R&B vocal groups of all time. They have sold 12 million records in the United States and are well known in Australia, the Philippines, Indonesia, parts of East Asia, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand.
Treach is the front man of the multi-platinum selling rap trio Naughty by Nature that took the world by storm in the early 90’s. Naughty by Nature pulled off the neat trick of landing big, instantly catchy anthems on the pop charts while maintaining their street level credibility among the hardcore rap faithful; one of the first groups to perform such a balancing act. Treach began his film career in 1990 when his friend the late Tupac Shakur helped him land a role in the critically acclaimed urban legend Juice. Treach continues to tour with Naughty by Nature, movies, and reality television.
The Royals hosted legendary rock bands Def Leppard & Mötley Crüe with special guests Poison, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts on July 19th, 2022. Tens of thousands gathered for their chance to experience a once-in-a-lifetime rock-n-roll experience during their monumental Stadium Tour.
