Logging into MLB Ballpark will allow you to take advantage of the MLB Ballpark app's many features including check in, in-game features, exclusive offers and notifications.

Your location information won't be shared without your permission.

Club Loyalty Programs

If you are a member of a participating club's loyalty program, you can associate that program with the MLB Ballpark app by navigating to the ballpark, tapping on the program tab in the upper right of a team page and tapping on "Get Started." If you are signed in with the MLB.com/Club.com account associated with the loyalty program, you will be taken to the program page where you can view your account information, tickets, reward points and stored value (eCash). If linking is unsuccessful, you will be provided with club-specific contact information for assistance. MLB Ballpark Digital Ticketing

Select Clubs will offer additional digital ticketing features which will allow you to purchase new tickets, present existing tickets at the ballpark for entry and transfer ticket inventory to and from individuals directly from the MLB Ballpark application. For Clubs that do not support the additional features, the ability to view and present tickets for entry will remain available through the "My Tickets Mobile" portal accessed through the MLB Ballpark app.

If you have any questions about MLB Ballpark digital ticketing, please review the Club-specific "FAQ" located at the bottom of the "Ticket Dashboard" from the team's "Tickets" tab. This FAQ will explain the program as well as provide Club-specific support information.

For "My Tickets Mobile" ticketing account, inventory and support inquiries, please contact the Club Box Office for immediate assistance.

Checking Into Events (Actual vs. Virtual)

The MLB Ballpark app supports two different types of Check Ins. An "actual" Check In will occur if you're currently attending an event and are physically at the ballpark. Actual Check Ins can only be added within 4hrs of game start. This Check In will allow you to unlock ballpark promotions and offers. A "virtual" Check In does not unlock any promotions or offers, but allows you to document past events you've attended at the ballpark in your journal at any time.

Actual Event Check In (physically at the ballpark)

  1. To manually complete an actual Check In, from the Ballparks section, tap on the "Check In" button. The earliest a Check In can be completed is 4hrs prior to the scheduled start time, and you must be near or in the stadium. If you are not near or in the stadium, a map will appear showing your approximate location. If you believe an error has occurred, you can tap on the "Refresh" button to refresh the information in an attempt to better locate you. Please ensure the location services on your device are enabled.
  2. If you've passed the location verification, you will be able to enter information such as seating, a message to share with social media (if you've enabled Facebook/Foursquare/Twitter), the ability to add a photo to your Check In, and finally, tap "Check In" to complete the process.
  3. After successfully checking in, you will have the ability to jump to your Journal section or view offers you may have unlocked.

Virtual Event Check In (not physically at the ballpark)

You can add a virtual Check In from the Journal section at any time for any Regular or Postseason game dating back to 1903. Tap on the "Add Game" Button and fill in the required search criteria (Home Team/Year) and any additional fields to narrow your search. You will then be presented with a list of games. Check the box next to a game you want to add to your history. You will then have the option to go back to the list and add another game or complete the process. Existing virtual check ins can also be removed from your history by tapping on the event from your history and then tapping the "trash can" icon in the upper right.

Note: Ticket forwarding can also be initiated by tapping on the "action" icon from the ticket scan view. The ticket can be forwarded via e-mail [Forward Ticket] or via link [Forward via Link]. When Forwarding via Link, please be advised that whomever has access to the URL will be able to receive the ticket. Take care sharing this on a social network or other public forum.

    3. If they are on a different platform (e.g. Blackberry, Windows, PC) then they can accept or reject the ticket via a web flow. Those fans can then access the ticket(s) via the Club Ticket Provider Portal.
  4. The sender and recipient will be notified by email when the transaction is complete.

Frequently Asked Questions

The MLB Ballpark app cannot locate me when completing an actual check in.

Please ensure the location services on your device are enabled.

How do I know whether I completed an actual or a virtual Check In for an event?

When reviewing your history under the Journal section, actual Check In events will have a "pin" icon in the lower right.

Can I remove check ins?

Only virtual check ins can be removed from the MLB Ballpark app. This is completed by opening the event under your history and then tapping the "trash can" icon in the upper right.

Why is the MLB Ballpark app very slow when accessing information or trying to upload photos?

The MLB Ballpark app relies heavily on a strong network connection. This unfortunately may be difficult to achieve using a cellular or WiFi connection at the ballpark due to the volume of mobile devices requesting connections. A weak network connection may impede access to information as well as photo uploads. We are working to improve network connectivity at all of our ballparks.

What should I do if I am unable to present my tickets using MLB Ballpark digital ticketing or the "My Tickets Mobile" portal in the MLB Ballpark app?

If you are unable to access purchased tickets via MLB Ballpark digital ticketing or the "My Tickets Mobile" portal in the MLB Ballpark app, please contact the Box Office for immediate assistance. If you do not remember your MLB.com/Club.com account password, you can request a new password for your MLB.com/Club.com account by navigating to the "Settings>MLB.com Account" section of the MLB Ballpark app and tapping on "Forgot password."

MLB Ballpark does not allow me to choose which application I want to use when transferring a ticket using "Share via link."

If you are not prompted with choices for sharing via link (ex: Twitter always opens) you may have set your device default for link sharing to that particular application. To reset this value, please navigate to your device "Settings>Applications" section [menu may vary based on Android OS/device], tap on the app that is always opening (ex: Twitter) and tap on "Clear defaults." MLB Ballpark should then display choices when sharing via link.
