What is Rally?

Rally is MLB's free and fun to play predictive game. Rally includes a prize contest each day that MLB games are played.

When can I begin playing Rally?

Opening Day! April 1, 2021.

What are Rally's rules?

The Official Rules for Rally are HERE.

Who can play Rally via the Rally app?

You must be at least 21 years old, a legal resident of the United States, and not otherwise excluded per the Official Rules.

How do I play Rally via the Rally app?

Playing is simple. Pick any MLB game, choose your contest of choice - Rally or Rally Pro - and you'll be offered a series of predictions to make. The more predictions you get right, the more points you'll earn.

How do I make Rally app predictions?

Select an MLB game, choose your contest of choice - Rally or Rally Pro - and you will be presented with a digital card or a series of digital cards with prediction options. Some digital cards present pre-game predictions, which must be submitted before the official start of the game. Some digital cards present in-game predictions (e.g., What will happen in PLAYER's at bat?), which must be submitted before the relevant game action (e.g., before PLAYER begins his at bat). Open a digital card and select your prediction response to record it on the digital card. You must submit your pre-game predictions before first pitch and your in-game predictions before the start of the relevant game action for your predictions to be scored.

Can I change my Rally app predictions?

Yes, you can change your pre-game predictions before first pitch and your in-game predictions before the start of the relevant game action. After those deadlines, predictions are locked!

What happens if I miss a Rally app prediction deadline?

If you don't make your prediction in time, you won't earn any points for the prediction.

How do I score points?

You score points by making accurate predictions. The points available for each prediction's response option will be displayed in the app. A correct prediction earns the specified number of points; an incorrect prediction earns no points.

How do I enter a Rally app contest?

Select the MLB game you're interested in, choose your competition of choice - Rally or Rally Pro - and make at least one prediction. It's that easy! You can enter with just one prediction, but the more predictions you make, the more potential you have to earn points and win!

You can submit predictions for multiple MLB games, but a Rally app contest entry is limited to predictions submitted for a single MLB game. This means your contest points will not add up across multiple MLB games. Instead, the app will review your various scores and apply your highest single score as your contest entry.

What's the difference between Rally and Rally Pro?

In a Rally contest, you can choose the 10 predictions you’d like to make during any live game. Try and get the most points possible with your 10 predictions. Finished with your 10? Try again and make 10 more. Your single highest score will count towards the leaderboard. Speaking of which, a Rally leaderboard only consists of users playing that same contest (TEX @ NYY, for example). You can enter as many Rally contests as there are games on a given day. The top three scores from each Rally contest win a prize.

In a Rally Pro contest, you can make as many predictions throughout the game as you’d like. The objective is to accumulate as many points throughout the game as you can. Your highest score from any game on a given day goes on the Pro Rankings leaderboard. The top three scores on the Pro Rankings leaderboard win prizes.

Remember, to be eligible for prizing, you must be 21 years or older and other restrictions apply. See the Official Rules for details.

How many Rally app contests can I enter? How many entries can I submit in each Rally app contest?

There is no limit to how many Rally app contests you can enter over the course of the MLB season, though there is a limit of one (1) Rally contest entry per person, per game and one (1) Rally Pro contest entry per person, per day. Don't forget that, on each day, you can submit predictions for multiple MLB games. Each Rally contest has its own prizes, and for Rally Pro the app will review your various scores and apply your highest single score as your contest entry. So stay competitive and submit picks for all the games!

What happens if an MLB game is canceled or suspended?

If an MLB game is canceled, all associated predictions will be void and no one will earn points for those voided predictions. If an MLB game is suspended, the Rally app will score predictions submitted and recorded up until the time of suspension. Please note that if any MLB game is suspended and resumes play on a subsequent date, the resumed portion of the game and any associated predictions will be void and will not be scored.

What happens if there is a tie for any Rally app prize?

It depends on how many prizes there are and at what position (for example, first place or second place or third place) there is a tie. See the Official Rules for complete details.

How do I collect my prize if I win?

Once a week, typically on Friday, MLB's promotions administrator will contact potential winners to verify eligibility and compliance with Official Rules. If you are eligible and verified as a winner, the administrator will make prize fulfillment arrangements directly with you.
