Even though Blue Jays fans cannot attend a game in person during the 2020 regular season, they can still grab a seat in the stands through the Blue Jays Fan Cutout Crew. By purchasing a cutout, fans will have a 2D version of themselves sitting in the sections behind home plate at our home away from dome in Buffalo. You may even see your smiling (cutout) face on TV while you’re watching Blue Jays home games this season!

Cutouts are $60 for the 2020 regular season. A portion of proceeds will benefit Jays Care Foundation’s efforts to support Canadian families who have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19. To learn more about our Blue Jays Community Commitment, please visit jayscare.com/bluejayscommunity.

To ensure your cutout is as photogenic as you are, please wear your best Blue Jays gear and reference our Photo Submission Guide.

Please note: all photos will be reviewed by the Toronto Blue Jays front office staff. The Club is unable to create cutouts that include the following:

  • Commercial advertisements, including slogans, websites, and phone numbers.
  • Social media handles and hashtags.
  • Offensive or negative references to any MLB team.
  • Names of any MLB players.
  • Statements or endorsements of political candidates.
  • Third party logos/branding.

Due to limitations, cutouts will be general admission and specific seat requests cannot be accommodated. Your fan cutout will remain at the ballpark for the 2020 regular season and your cutout will be mailed to you following the season. Due to weather out of the control of the Toronto Blue Jays, we cannot guarantee the condition of your cutout at the end of the season.

Q. Where will my cutout be located? Can I choose my seat as if I was actually coming to the game?
A. All cutouts will be seated behind home plate, between the home and away dugouts. Seating locations will be chosen at random and will remain the same for the duration of the 2020 regular season. Seat requests cannot be accommodated.

Q. Will I be in the same seat for the duration of the 2020 regular season?
A. Seating locations will remain the same for the duration of the 2020 regular season. Seat change requests cannot be accommodated.

Q. Is there a chance my cutout will become famous by being on TV?
A. There’s no guarantee, but with all cutouts being behind home plate, it is likely there will be some “fan shots” on broadcast.

Q. Can you tell me exactly where my cutout is sitting for the regular 2020 season?
A. Unfortunately, we will not be able to share the exact seat number your cutout is placed in; however, you may find your cutout location on broadcast or on @BlueJays social.

Q. What happens to my cutout at the end of the 2020 regular season?
A. Your cutout will be mailed to you following the 2020 regular season. Please note, we cannot guarantee the condition of your cutout following the 2020 regular season as it will be exposed to external weather conditions.

Q. How many cutouts can I purchase?
A. There is a limit of 2 cutouts per transaction.

Q. If I buy a cutout for my friend and I, can we sit together?
A. Yes. All cutouts purchased as part of the same transaction will be seated together. Please note that you are fully responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions, consents, and rights required to submit an image and purchase a cutout on behalf of someone else. You will also be required to agree to the Blue Jays Fan Cutout Crew Release, Waiver and Indemnity on behalf of yourself and the other person.

Q. Can more than one person be in each cutout?
A. Unfortunately, this is a solo act! All submitted photos must be of just one individual. Please reference our Photo Submission Guidelines for tips on taking the best photo.

Q. How do I guarantee I get the best quality photo for my cutout?

Q. Once I’m happy with my photo, what do I do?
A. If you haven’t already, click the purchase buttons at the top of the page to buy your cutout! If you have already purchased your cutout, you will receive an email with a link to a form to upload your photo. Please call 416-341-1234 if you have not received your post-purchase email after 2 hours.

Q. I meant to upload my photo, but accidentally uploaded the wrong one. Can I change it?
A. Fans are required to submit their best photo on their first submission and photo changes cannot be accommodated.

Q. Will I receive a follow up that my photo has been accepted and my cutout has been printed?
A. Unless your photo does not meet our guidelines, we will not reach out to you.

Q. What happens if the 2020 regular season gets cancelled? Will refunds be provided?
A. Unfortunately, we will not be able to issue refunds in the event the 2020 regular season gets cancelled; however, you will still receive your fan cutout via mail at the end of the 2020 regular season.

Q. Can I submit a photo of my baby or pet?
A. Yes fans are permitted to purchase a cutout and submit a photo for their baby or pet as long as it meets our Photo Submission Guidelines. In the case of a minor child, you must be the parent/legal guardian of the minor child whose photo you are submitting and you will be required to agree to the Blue Jays Fan Cutout Crew Release, Waiver and Indemnity on behalf of yourself and the minor child.

Q. What happens to my cutout if the Blue Jays advance to the postseason?
A: Your purchased cutouts will only be seated for the duration of the 2020 regular season. Stay tuned for opportunities to purchase a cutout if the Blue Jays play in the postseason.
