Tarik Skubal, Justin Verlander, Kenley Jansen and Casey Mize, Tigers

Skubal (loose body in left elbow) threw five scoreless innings in a rehab start for High-A West Michigan on June 7. The Tigers hope he will be able to return to the big leagues sometime this weekend.

Verlander (left hip inflammation) will make a second rehab start for Triple-A Toledo on June 10, when he is expected to stretch out to 75 pitches.

Jansen (right groin tightness) will make a rehab appearance for Triple-A Toledo on June 10.

Mize (right groin tightness) made a rehab start for Single-A Lakeland on June 9, throwing 55 pitches (36 strikes) over five innings.

Ronald Acuña Jr. and Drake Baldwin, Braves

Acuña left the Braves' June 9 game with an apparent left leg injury, sustained attempting to beat out a ground ball.

Baldwin (strained right oblique muscle) will face live pitching on June 11 and 12 before beginning a rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett over the weekend.

Max Scherzer, Shane Bieber, Daulton Varsho and Alejandro Kirk, Blue Jays

Scherzer (forearm tendinitis) will return to the big league club and start on June 10.

Bieber (right elbow inflammation) is scheduled to make his fourth rehab start on June 11 for Triple-A Buffalo.

Varsho (left wrist discomfort) hit off the machine on June 8 but remained out of the starting lineup through June 9. He received an MRI on June 9 with good results, and the Blue Jays are consulting a hand specialist.

Kirk (left thumb fracture) could return June 12 in a "best-case scenario," per manager John Schneider.

Cal Raleigh, Colt Emerson, J.P. Crawford and Cooper Criswell, Mariners

Raleigh (right oblique strain) had his rehab assignment transferred to Triple-A Tacoma on June 9. He hit two home runs, including a grand slam, in his first game for the Rainiers.

Emerson (back tightness) was scratched from the lineup on June 8 and was not in the lineup on June 9. The issue is not considered serious or long term.

Crawford (right hand contusion) was placed on the 10-day IL on June 8.

Criswell was placed on the 15-day IL on June 9 with a right shoulder strain.

Kodai Senga and Jorge Polanco, Mets

Senga was scratched from his fourth scheduled rehab start on June 9 at Double-A Binghamton with ulnar nerve irritation in his right arm.

Polanco (left Achilles bursitis) was pulled back from his rehab assignment with Triple-A Syracuse on June 6 due to ankle soreness. An MRI came back clean, but he will be shut down from defensive activities for the time being.

Konnor Griffin, Oneil Cruz, Chris Devenski and Joey Bart, Pirates

Griffin (right forearm strain) will begin a throwing program if he is cleared by team physicians on June 10. He said Dr. Keith Meister recommended he refrain from throwing for two weeks.

Cruz is considered day to day with left hand discomfort stemming from a hard slide in Atlanta over the weekend.

Devenski (undisclosed illness) was transferred to the 60-day injured list on June 7. He began a side progression during the first week of June.

Bart (left foot infection) is expected to begin a rehab assignment during the week of June 8.

Will Smith, Dodgers

Smith, who was scratched on June 6 due to neck stiffness, was out of the lineup through June 9. Imaging showed nothing of concern, but an IL stint is not out of the question.

Matthew Boyd and Jameson Taillon, Cubs

Boyd (left meniscus) is on track to return during the Cubs' June 12-14 series in San Francisco.

Taillon was placed on the 15-day IL on June 9 (retroactive to June 8) with a "moderate" left hamstring strain.

Kris Bubic and Cole Ragans, Royals

Bubic (left elbow soreness) made his first rehab start on June 9 with Triple-A Omaha, allowing six runs (five earned) on eight hits over 1 1/3 innings.

Ragans (left elbow impingement) is scheduled for his first bullpen session on June 10.

Max Fried, Austin Wells, Jasson Domínguez and Giancarlo Stanton, Yankees

Fried (left elbow bone bruise) is set to undergo re-imaging the week of June 7 in hopes of being cleared for mound work. He last threw from 75 feet on June 1 and 2.

Wells was placed on the 10-day IL on June 6 with cervical headaches. He underwent an MRI on June 8, which came back negative.

Domínguez (left shoulder AC joint sprain) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on June 5. He made his first outfield appearance on June 7, playing left field for the RailRiders.

Stanton (right calf strain) took live batting practice on June 3 and was scheduled to do so again June 6. He has been performing agility exercises and running lightly and could return in 2-3 weeks, GM Brian Cashman said June 5.

Craig Kimbrel, Jonny DeLuca and Gavin Lux, Rays

Kimbrel (right wrist strain) threw a 25-pitch live bullpen session on June 9 and could return as soon as or shortly after he becomes eligible on June 12.

DeLuca (right hamstring strain) is expected to begin a rehab assignment on June 12.

Lux (left shoulder inflammation) had two at-bats against Kimbrel on June 9 but is not close to returning to game action, per manager Kevin Cash.

Chris Bassitt, Samuel Basallo and Ryan Helsley, Orioles

The Orioles placed Bassitt on the 15-day injured list on June 8, retroactive to June 5, with low back discomfort.

Basallo was out of the lineup on June 8 and again June 9 with a left wrist issue, although manager Craig Albernaz indicated it wasn't serious. He pinch-hit in the eighth inning on June 8.

Helsley (right elbow inflammation) threw a live batting practice session at Camden Yards on June 8.

Jack Kochanowicz, Vaughn Grissom, Adam Frazier, Yoán Moncada and Yusei Kikuchi, Angels

Kochanowicz, placed on the 15-day IL with right elbow inflammation on June 7, has a torn UCL and will require Tommy John surgery.

Grissom (left oblique strain) and Frazier (right elbow inflammation) were both placed on the 10-day injured list on June 8.

Moncada (right knee inflammation) has elected to undergo surgery. The Angels expect to have more clarity on his timeline after the procedure.

Kikuchi (left shoulder inflammation) was scheduled to start his throwing program on June 9. He is targeting a return date shortly after the All-Star break.

Nick Allen, Hunter Brown and Cristian Javier, Astros

Allen was placed on the 10-day injured list on June 8 with a left hamstring strain.

Brown (Grade 2 right shoulder strain) will make his fourth and final Minor League rehab start June 10 at Triple-A Sugar Land.

Javier (Grade 2 right shoulder strain) was set to make his second rehab start June 9 with Triple-A Sugar Land.

Luis Campusano, Matt Waldron and Miguel Andujar, Padres

Campusano (left big toe fracture) is swinging pain-free and catching bullpens and could begin a rehab assignment in the coming days, per a June 9 update.

Waldron (right brachialis strain) threw a two-inning simulated game on June 9 and could make his return as a reliever.

Andujar (hamstring tightness) was out of the lineup June 8 but was available as a pinch-hitter.

Emilio Pagán, Reds

Pagán (Grade 2 left hamstring strain) had his first bullpen session on June 8. He is expected to have another on June 10 before undergoing a follow-up MRI on June 13.

Josh Smith, Rangers

Smith (right glute strain, wrist inflammation, viral meningitis) had his rehab assignment transferred to Triple-A Round Rock from Double-A Frisco on June 9.

Jordan Lawlar and James McCann, D-backs

Lawlar (right wrist fracture) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Reno on June 5 and is nearing a return per manager Torey Lovullo.

McCann (strained right quad) is hitting and doing catching drills but has yet to resume full-intensity running as of a June 9 update.

Jacob Wilson and Aaron Civale, Athletics

Wilson (left shoulder subluxation), currently on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas, could return as soon as June 12.

Civale (right shoulder tendinitis) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas on June 11.
