Much was discussed in the latest episode of "This Week in Baseball," out now on MLB's X account, at MLB.com and on MLB.TV.
Among the many topics discussed was Junior Caminero’s impressive power display -- the 22-year-old became the youngest player since at least 1900 to homer in six straight games. Caminero also became the first player to sign up for the 2026 Home Run Derby, making it two straight years he’ll participate in the All-Star festivity.

The show, hosted by Kait Maniscalco, continues the revival of the classic series that debuted in 1977 as a 30-minute show and ran for most of the next three-plus decades to give baseball fans a dose of highlights and fun stories.
The new short-form version continues in that spirit, showcasing the biggest plays and storylines from the week, along with bloopers, the iconic TWIB Notes and more.
In addition to Caminero’s stretch of home runs, the show also touched on the Red Sox pulling off the rare four-game sweep against the Yankees at Fenway Park, the Max Muncy (Dodgers) - Max Muncy (A’s) matchup and some memorable Fourth of July moments in baseball history.
Developed by MLB Studios and produced in partnership with MLB Network, new episodes of "This Week in Baseball" drop Fridays at noon ET on MLB's X account and are available the next day at MLB.com and on MLB.TV.
