JUDGING
The Judges will judge all eligible Submissions to determine in their sole discretion the most compelling Submissions from each of Chicago’s seventy-seven (77) official community areas based on the following judging criteria (the “Judging Criteria”): the compelling nature of Participant’s account of Nominee’s impact on their local community in Chicago, character of the Nominee, and clarity of Submission. Prior to July 6, 2026 (the “Judging Date”), one (1) Nominee per official community area, as selected from the Submissions or otherwise chosen by Sponsor, will be deemed a Honoree of the contest. The Judges’ determinations will be final and non-reviewable, and Sponsor shall have no duty to disclose the Judges’ analysis and any materials relating to the Judges’ review of Submissions. In the event a community area does not receive a reasonable number of Submissions for review, if such Submissions do not comply with these Official Rules, if such Submissions do not meet the quality and/or standards of the Judges to be deemed a Honoree, as determined by the Judges in their sole discretion, and/or if such Submissions are deemed undesirable by Judges, and/or for any other reason that may impact the integrity of this Contest or reputation of Sponsor, all as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion, Sponsor may, but is not required to, choose a Nominee from such community area without any Submission.
