Cubs Charities and the Chicago Cubs are bringing back the multiday fundraising effort, Cubs for a Cure, in collaboration with Advocate Health Care, AbbVie and Audacy to raise funds in the fight against cancer.
The online fundraising campaign for Cubs for a Cure kicks off April 9 and lasts through 11:59 p.m. CT May 23.
Similar to last season, Cubs for a Cure will kick off starting at 10 a.m. CT Thursday, May 21, as 104.3 The Score will once again host a 24-hour radiothon where listeners can call in and donate. During the radiothon, Cubs players and other VIP guests will participate, offering their stories and personal experiences with the terrible disease. Tune in and donate before the radiothon ends at 10 a.m. CT Friday, May 22.
Fundraising efforts and pregame festivities will continue when the Cubs host the Astros on May 23 with a gameday fundraiser presented by Advocate Health Care. Check back closer to gameday for further information on fundraising activations and opportunities to contribute to the cause.
Fans interested in donating to Cubs for a Cure can attend the May 23 game, click the “Donate Now” button on this page or text CURE26 to 41444.
