ATLANTA -- Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte exited Friday night's game against the Braves in the bottom of the second inning due to left knee soreness.
In the bottom of the first inning at Truist Park, Marte ranged to his right to attempt to field a Drake Baldwin ground ball and twisted awkwardly in the process. Marte stayed in the game for the remainder of the first inning.
Jorge Barrosa replaced Marte at the cleanup spot in the batting order and took over in center field. Ildemaro Vargas moved from first base to second base and Tim Tawa moved from center field to first base.
