Each Veteran's Day weekend, the Arizona Diamondbacks host the annual D-backs Celebrity Golf Classic - A Salute to Veterans presented by Sanderson Ford. Since the tournament's inaugural event in 2011, the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation has donated more than $650,000 to non-profit organizations and programs that embrace and improve the lives of our Military heroes.
Each year, the Arizona Diamondbacks are honored to host Military Appreciation Day at Chase Field to honor the service and sacrifice of our military heroes and veterans. The D-backs hosted Military Appreciated Day on July 5, 2015. The day typically includes discounted tickets for all military active duty, reserve, retired and veterans, a special Diamond Days experience for 1,200 guests from Arizona military bases, and a pregame recognition dedicated to local, military-focused organizations that benefitted from the D-backs Celebrity Golf Classic.
