Catcher Solis, Dodgers part ways over contractual issue

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Non-roster catcher Ali Solis had a contractual issue and is no longer in camp with the Dodgers.

Solis, 27, had brief appearances in the big leagues with the Padres in 2012 and Tampa Bay last year.

The Dodgers now have only five catchers in camp. On the big league roster are Yasmani Grandal, A.J. Ellis and Austin Barnes. Non-roster invitees are Chris O'Brien and Shawn Zarraga. Another non-roster catcher is likely to be added.
