Lupita Infante brings back to life the music of Pedro Infante, her grandfather and the iconic legend of regional Mexican music. Recognized as Pandora's 2019 Latin Artist to Watch and Billboard's Latin Artist On The Rise, Lupita's unique interpretation exudes passion and feeling, making her one of the worthiest representatives of Mexican music who is forging her own style and identity as a singer. Growing up in the suburbs of Downey her excitement for the stage, along with inspiration drawn from her grandfather and father, led her to pursue voice and the study of music at UCLA where she also participated in the world's first university-level mariachi ensemble, Mariachi de Uclatlán founded in 1961.
The Delirians are the heavy hitters of California's ever growing traditional ska and reggae scene. Based out of East Los Angeles they strive to keep that vintage reggae sound alive with vintage 60's era sound, added to their own flavor to create a genuinely unique sound.
QUITAPENAS, one word - all caps, four syllables - all claps, gives you a taste of their rhythmic contagion. This tropical Afro-Latin combo was born under the warm California sun. They borrow aesthetics from the radical 60s, 70s and 80s. Each song echoes a remix of history and invites one to engage in the liberating evenings of Angola, Peru, Colombia, Brazil and beyond. The name means "to remove worries." Everybody has a "pena" and the mission of QUITAPENAS is simple: to make you dance and leave you without a worry
El Conjunto Nueva Ola (ECNO) Directly from the city of hope - Mexico City, Mexico - in the month of March, 2012, the six-man group El Conjunto Nueva Ola released its first musical production, a very unique musical collective. A peculiar concept with unique characteristics, the group has drawn attention from thousands of people, a fact that has led them to be known also as "los enmarscarados" ("the masked ones"). Their faces are covered with "luchador" (wrestler) masks at all times, hiding the true physiognomy of each group member. This has also given El Conjunto Nueva Ola a distinctive and authentic feel. They are the self-proclaimed "disrespectful musical wrestlers." But they are also young professionals who, with their first album, are providing creativity and freshness to a worn-out record industry. That - and much more - is what El Conjunto Nueva Ola is all about.
