
MLB Little League Classic Security & Ballpark Policies
In order to expedite your entry into the Little League Classic, please be aware that the following measures will be implemented. Major League Baseball reserves the right at any time to adjust entry policies at their sole discretion without any prior notice.
Further, items will not be permitted to remain unattended in Little League Classic transportation vehicles and there will be no storage available for prohibited items at Journey Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field.
Prohibited Items
- Aerosol cans (i.e., hairspray, mace, pepper spray, etc.)
- Animals (except certified service animals or service animals in training)
- Banners, flags, and signs not in compliance with event policy (see banner, flag, and sign policy below)
- Baseball bats
- Balloons, beach balls, and other inflatable items
- Drugs or other illegal substances/ paraphernalia (including medical marijuana)
- Firearms or other weapons (i.e., knives, brass knuckles, etc.)
- Fireworks
- Glass bottles
- Hard sided coolers
- Laser devices or pointers
- Noise making devices (i.e., air horns, cowbells, etc.)
- Camera tri, dual or single leg pods by non-media personnel or selfie sticks
- Skateboards and rollerblades
- Smokeless/chewing tobacco
- Obscene, political, indecent or offensive clothing
- Outside beverages (except clear, factory sealed water 20 oz. or smaller, soft-sided single juice or milk containers (one per person) or ADA required liquids in a sealed container)
- Professional cameras with detachable lenses
- Toy guns or knives (including water guns)
- Unmanned aerial vehicles (drones)
Bag Policy
Bags larger than 16"x 16"x 8" are prohibited at Little League Classic, with the exception of medical and diaper bags. All bags are subject to inspection.
Banner, Flag & Sign Policy
Major League Baseball welcomes baseball-related banners, flags, and signs as long as they do not:
- Exceed 16”x16” in size
- Contain wood, metal or inflexible materials
- Have any items affixed to them
- Interfere with the game or other guests' enjoyment of the game
- Obstruct the view of other patrons
- Obstruct existing ballpark signage or advertising
- Contain any language that is:
- Commercial (no signage/ads pertaining to personal businesses or other commercial entities not associated with MLB)
- Obscene (no foul language or disrespectful statements)
- Abusive or non-supportive towards any teams, players, countries, or regions
- Political in nature
- Attach to any ballpark walls, structures, or poles of any sort
- Parade through any part of the ballpark/venue; may be displayed between innings only
MLB reserves the right to remove any banner, flag, and/or sign that is deemed in violation of this policy.
Abusive Fan Behavior & Derogatory Language
Major League Baseball is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all fans, players, and staff. any form of abusive behavior or derogatory language is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
The use of offensive language or behavior concerning another person’s race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, or national origin ("derogatory language"), whether directed at players, officials, team personnel, venue staff, or other fans, is unacceptable and inconsistent with the values and spirit of the game.
Disruptive behavior or interference of any kind is strictly prohibited. this includes entering the playing field or restricted areas, interfering with balls in play, disrupting the progression of the game, or attempting to do so. Additionally, placing, dropping, tossing, or throwing any object or substance onto the playing field is not allowed under any circumstances.
Additionally, fighting, taunting or making threatening gestures, foul or abusive behavior, including obscene gestures, including betting-related speech and behavior, and/or any harassing or threatening actions, is prohibited, regardless of whether it is directed at other fans, players, players family members, club personnel, umpires, or any other individual/group.
Fans are expected to treat everyone with respect. fans who violate this policy may be subject to ejection, revocation of ticket privileges, or other disciplinary measures, including potential referral to local law enforcement when appropriate.
