Top Tips

Before we get started, there are a few top tips that will help you to experience the very best of Major League Baseball in London:

  1. Don’t forget your ticket – general admission guests will receive electronic / mobile tickets through your Ticketmaster App or website-based Ticketmaster account, approximately two weeks before the event. If you booked via London Stadium you will also receive your tickets approximately two weeks before the event.
  2. Plan your journey – plan your journey to London Stadium in advance, visit Transport for London’s website for the latest travel updates https://tfl.gov.uk
  3. Arrive early – gates open three hours prior to first pitch. We encourage guests to arrive early to leave adequate time to clear security and bag checks. There will be a range of fun things to see and do around London Stadium including baseball hitting and pitching activities, DJs, live entertainment, American food and official MLB shops.
  4. Leave your bags at home - all permitted bags will be checked and guests are encouraged to leave bags at home to expedite the stadium entry process.

Ticketing

Your ticket(s) will be issued by the vendor that sold you the ticket(s).

Ticketmaster - you will receive an email to confirm your ticket purchase immediately, and the ticket(s) will be sent to you approximately two weeks before the event.

London Stadium - you will receive an email to confirm your ticket purchase immediately, and the ticket(s) will be sent to you approximately two weeks before the event.

Hospitality Tickets - your ticket(s) will be issued approximately two weeks prior to the event via a dedicated ticketing app. More details regarding the app will be shared with Hospitality guests shortly.

Additional Information

Getting to the Stadium

You'll see a Stadium Bridge and an Entrance clearly marked on your ticket. To ensure the smoothest entry to the venue, please make your way to the Bridge listed on your ticket. Hospitality guests can cross any bridge and enter via Entrance B. Visitors who require Accessible entry will have dedicated lanes on each bridge.

London Stadium is located within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and benefits from the capital’s best transport links.

Stratford’s ability to handle large numbers of fans makes it our recommended gateway for those travelling to and from London Stadium. From here, a combination of stewards, volunteers, directional signage will see you to and from the ground quickly and safely.

Important Station Notice: London King’s Cross line closure 24 & 25 June 2023
Planned engineering work is taking place at London Kings Cross on 24 & 25 June closing all lines.

London Stadium event day closures

There will be no access to the Stadium island for non-ticket holders on event days. Road closures will be in place from throughout the day.

By Bus
Guests travelling by bus to London Stadium can do so by a variety of TFL services. For more information regarding bus travel to London Stadium, Transport for London’s website here: https://tfl.gov.uk

Stratford and Stratford City bus stations are both located in close proximity to Stratford station itself.

By Bike

Cyclists can make use of the London Cycle Superhighway, extending from central London (Aldgate) to Stratford City. For more information visit: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/cycling/routes-andmaps/cycleways

Visitors can make use of the Bike Racks at Bridge 3 or 4 or near UCL / AMO Orbit (Bridge 5) or elsewhere in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Spaces are limited so arrive early to secure your place.

Cyclists taking advantage of the London Cycle Hire Scheme (Santander Bikes) can access an extensive network of docking points for London’s cycle hire scheme, making it even easier to access the Park on two wheels.

There are eight docking stations spread across Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park alone. Docking station that are closest to London Stadium are listed below. Cycle Hire bikes must not be left elsewhere around the Stadium.

  • Monier Road
  • The Podium
  • Stratford Station / Montfichet Road

By Car & Motorbike

We encourage all of our visitors to think seriously about how they make their journeys, especially with visitors able to take advantage of the extensive public transport network servicing London Stadium.

There will be road closures active around the venue during event days to allow fans to arrive and leave the venue quickly and safely.

There is no general spectator parking at London Stadium. The closest car park is situated at Westfield Stratford.

By Taxi/Private Hire

Please note that roads are subject to closures on event days, and we recommend all visitors plan journeys accordingly. The temporary taxi rank on Montfichet Road can only be accessed from the north when event day road closures are in place.

There is also a dedicated minicab/private hire zone at Westfield Stratford on the lower ground floor near Car Park A and Waitrose where you can book a minicab or Uber.

By Air

London Stadium is easily accessible to visitors travelling from further afield, with the following travel plans recommended to guests. The final leg walk to London Stadium from Stratford and Stratford International stations is approximately 15 minutes.

From London Heathrow (60 to 100 minutes depending on route)

  • Take a direct service on the newly-opened Elizabeth Line (approx. 60 minutes)
    or
  • Take the Piccadilly line to King’s Cross St Pancras
  • Walk to St Pancras International station (five minutes)
  • Take the Southeastern train service to Stratford International
  • Walk to London Stadium

From London Gatwick (approximately 80 minutes travel time)

  • Take the Thameslink train to St Pancras International
  • Then board the Southeastern train service to Stratford International
  • Walk to London Stadium

From London Luton (approximately 80 minutes travel time)

  • Take the Luton Airport shuttle bus, or 888 bus service to Luton train station
  • Take the Thameslink service to St Pancras International
  • Then take the Southeastern service to Stratford International
  • Walk to London Stadium

From London Stansted (approximately 60 minutes travel time)

  • Take one of the regular coach services to Stratford
  • Then walk to London Stadium

From London City Airport (approximately 40 minutes travel time)

  • Take the DLR service to Stratford
  • Walk to London Stadium

From London Southend Airport (approximately an 80 minutes travel time)

  • Take the Greater Anglia train service to Stratford
  • Walk to London Stadium

Journey Home

London Stadium provides designated walking routes to Stratford Stations to support the safe journey home of all fans who attend events at the venue.

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is a large, open public area and with a sell-out (60,000+ people) expected for both games, use of these routes are necessary to ensure guests reach public transport hubs as quickly and safely as possible.

It is expected that fans will reach Stratford station within 50 minutes of leaving London Stadium. To ease congestion into Stratford station, stop and go signs are in operation on all routes, with stewards on hand to offer advice and to direct guests to their desired transport hub. If you are held on your walk to Stratford it will only be for a very short time and is to ensure the safe passage of guests into the station.

Other stations within close walking distance to London Stadium include Hackney Wick, Pudding Mill Lane and Bow Road – all connect to the wider TFL network.

The safety of all guests visiting London Stadium is of paramount importance. Please assist our stewarding teams to ensure your journey home is as smooth as possible.

Getting to the Stadium…

Tube and Train + Shuttle Bus Service

For supporters visiting London Stadium via the following services - the Elizabeth, Jubilee & Central Lines, DLR and London Overground to Stratford and Stratford International stations, the following
accessible features are available:

  • Low-level ticket machines and a dedicated gate to the right of the ticket barriers for wheelchair access
  • Induction loops
  • Step-free access to all platforms with lifts
  • Step-free bus stops
  • Accessible toilets
  • Assistance dogs welcome

Accessible Shuttle Bus

An Accessible Shuttle Bus will be in operation from in the vicinity of Stratford Station to London Stadium (Bridge 3). The service will operate from 30mins before gate opening times until 1hr post
event. Further details on the location at Stratford Station will depart from Gibbins Road near to dedicated accessible exit from Stratford Station Platform 13. .

Road Closures

The following roads will be closed for four hours before the event and in place for approximately two hours after the event.

Roads affected:

  • Westfield Avenue
  • Montfitchet Road
  • Pool Street
  • Sidings Street
  • Marshgate Lane (adjacent to the Stadium)
    Please note, carpark A at Westfield Stratford City remains accessible throughout.

By Bus

All of Transport for London’s main bus routes are wheelchair accessible. The bus stops closest to
London Stadium are located on Carpenters Road and Wick Lane.

By Car

Blue Badge Parking

There will be no general parking at the stadium itself. There will be limited parking for Blue Badge holders. Event day Blue Badge parking passes will be issued on a first come first served basis. Those
ticket holders wishing to apply for a Blue Badge parking pass should purchase via https://www.eticketing.co.uk/londonstadium/Events

The exact location, directions and opening hours of the Blue Badge parking area will be confirmed when booking. Visitors purchasing Blue Badge parking will be contacted closer to the event, to gather details such as car registration and Blue Badge number. Please add [email protected] to your safe senders list to ensure you receive email communications.

Venue Accessibility

Guests holding tickets for accessible seating can use any entrance to enter London Stadium.

The main concourses are level and step free, with accessible lifts spread across all levels.

Accessible Seating

Accessible seating is available on each level at London Stadium, including: aisle seats, seats with few or no steps nearby, seats which have nothing directly in front of them, and those closest to toilet facilities.

Numerous rest areas and benches are located across Stadium Island and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Kindly note that if you have your own wheelchair, it will be left in designated areas at the owner’s risk.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome into London Stadium, and can stay in wheelchair bays. Kindly note that any assistance dogs must remain with their owner at all times. There is a dog relieving station at Bridge 4. There is also a dog waste bin at this location.

Catering Kiosks

All concourse catering units in close proximity to wheelchair-accessible seating areas have been designed to accommodate wheelchair users.

Toilets / Changing Rooms

All of London Stadium’s accessible toilets are unisex, and available on all levels close to wheelchair bays. These facilities are larger than standard wheelchair-accessible toilets, and include a height adjustable changing bench hoist and room for up to two PAs.

London Stadium has three changing places facilities, two situated on podium level, and one on the Stadium's upper tier.

London Stadium, in conjunction with Major League Baseball, has established the following security procedures for entrance into the ballpark:

Gates open three hours prior to first pitch (start of game). We encourage guests to arrive early and leave adequate time for fan screening and bag checks. All permitted bags will be checked and guests are encouraged to leave bags at home to expedite the stadium entry process.

Metal detectors are present at all London Stadium entry points. Those with prohibited items will have to dispose of them. Individuals who are unable to pass through a metal detector due to special circumstances will be checked with a hand-held device.

All items permitted into the stadium will be inspected. Permitted items must easily fit into a 16" x
16" x 8" container.

Prohibited Items

Prohibited items are as follows and will not be permitted into the stadium:

  • Bags greater than Foolscap / A4 size
  • Balls of any sort (non MLB purchase)
  • Beach balls and other inflatables
  • Canned drinks purchased outside Stadium island
  • Darts
  • Drones / UAVs
  • Fireworks, explosives & weapons of any Kind
  • Glass
  • Handheld 2 way radios/scanners
  • Hard sided coolers
  • Helmets
  • Illegal substances
  • Large umbrellas
  • Laser pointers
  • Musical instruments and noise devices
  • Non Stadium foodstuffs and liquids (with the exception of empty water bottles)
  • Professional zoom lens cameras
  • Skateboards, rollerblades and scooters
  • Unauthorised work tools

London Stadium may prohibit additional items as deemed necessary PLUS ANY OTHER ITEM LIKELY TO CAUSE INJURY OR ANNOYANCE. These items are banned and must not be allowed into the Stadium. Search teams must not take possession of any belongings from the owner and are not be responsible for their safe keeping.


Stadium Opening Times

London Stadium will open three hours before the first pitch, 3.00pm BST (local London time) on Saturday 24 June and 12.00pm BST (local London time) on Sunday 25 June. Entertainment, including food and beverages will be on offer throughout the day.

Prams & Strollers

Strollers and prams may be brought and stored at the venue, though we cannot take responsibility for them. Scooters, skateboards and any other transport favoured by our youngest fans are not permitted at London Stadium and there are no facilities to store these items outside the venue. Ask a steward for more information on entry.

Cashless Payments

All payments at London Stadium are cashless, for ease, speed and safety. Please be prepared to make payments via card and contactless.

Baby Changing

Baby changing facilities are available on each level of London Stadium. On an event day, simply ask one of our friendly stewarding team for the closest baby change location to your seat.


There will be a wide range of MLB products available at the London Series. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

MLB Superstore (accessible to ticket holders only)
There will be an MLB Superstore of over 1,000sqm, accessible to all ticket holders on the day their tickets are valid. The MLB Superstore will be open from 3:00pm on Saturday 24th and 12:00pm on Sunday 25th. The MLB Superstore is located by Bridge 2 to the North of the stadium. The Superstore will include products not just from the Cubs and Cardinals but from all 30 teams including: jerseys, fitted and adjustable headwear, training wear, memorabilia and much more.

In addition to the Superstore there will be a number of MLB Official Merchandise locations situated around London Stadium. See map for further details.

Non-Ticket Holders
For non-ticket holders an MLB official merchandise location will be positioned outside the ticket perimeter at the entrance to the Queen Elizabeth Park from the Westfield Shopping Centre (adjacent to the Aquatics Centre). Holding all event products as well as jerseys, apparel and headwear for the Cubs and Cardinals, this store will be open on Friday 23rd from 10:00 until 6.00pm, Saturday 24th from 10.00am and Sunday 25th from 10.00am.

Cashless Shopping
All stores are cashless. All major credit & debit cards are accepted as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Click & Collect
The Click & Collect platform will open from Friday 9th June and orders can be placed from this date. Please check back for more information at that time if you would like to pre-order any official merchandise to collect within the ticketed area on the day.

A range of fun interactive and family-friendly activities will be on offer around London Stadium before first pitch, including; baseball pitching & hitting activities, live entertainment, DJs, facepainting, oversized MLB photo opportunities, MLB shops, and mascot character appearances.

London Stadium will open three hours before the first pitch, 3.00pm BST (local London time) on Saturday 24 June and 12.00pm BST (local London time) on Sunday 25 June.

We encourage fans to arrive early and soak up the authentic ballpark atmosphere to make the most of your day.


A Taste of America

You will be treated to a true taste of America as we transform London Stadium into Europe’s greatest ballpark.

Look out for signature dishes from the home cities of the Cardinals and the Cubs, St Louis and Chicago, such as the St Louis Donut Burger and Chicago Style Beef Sandwich. Our infamous Boomstick Hot Dog and Boomstick Chilli Nachos will also be available.

A range of souvenir cups and limited edition products will be available to purchase on the day.

Please Note: Ticket holders may not bring outside food and beverage into the ballpark unless there are proven medical grounds for doing so. Ticket holders main bring their own empty water drinking bottle.

Bars

The event is fully licensed and both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages will be on sale throughout London Stadium. Responsible drinking is always encouraged.

Head to the Bleacher Bar, Bricks & Ivy Bar and Birdland Bar located on the Stadium concourse, grab a drink and soak up the atmosphere before the game. Bars and food outlets will remain open throughout the games.

Water Refill Stations

You will be allowed to bring empty plastic or metal bottles of any size with the tops removed, to use at the refill points inside the Stadium.
